Just a quick catch-up.
Wow! It’s been a crazy few weeks. Sorry for the lack of updates.
So, last Thursday I got on my plane to Seattle! I’m here now, and quite content with it. A few things could be better, but I don’t have much to complain about.
On Monday I went to the Martin Luther King Jr. march Downtown. I went with the Seattle Solidarity Network (SeaSol) and a group of October 22nd anti-police brutality streets. At the end of the march we occupied the street in protest of Officer Birk (a Seattle police officer who shot an innocent man repeatedly in the back, for no apparent reason). We held it for quite some time and the police eventually gave up on the last 4 of us standing on one half of street.
I am still in the process of looking for a more permanent place to stay out here and some sort of slave-labor so I can pay rent for said residence.
